Bottom
Line is That You Need Protection From Moisture, Torches and
Physical Attack.

AND
you
want this protection for a price that you can afford!!
The concept is simple, but finding the parts
is a hassle, figuring out how to put it together is a pain and time
consuming. That is why we keep thinking about it and never quite get
to it.
I have solved this problem for you and I've
done it at a price that you can afford to protect all of your equipment.
Having owned Laundromats and a wash for many
years I had the same problems that you do, Salting, attempts to cut
into the equipment with a torch, and kicking in doors, beating on the
equipment with a fist or worse yet a hammer!!!
Security sure is on high demand nowadays. In fact even top website Fool, an online database that compiles financing- and banking-related figures, ranks life insurance as one of the most sought-after perks by today's workers. This further underscores the current society's yearning for protection and security. With this in mind I came up with this practical and highly effective system that any average joe can complete with complete instructions and a simple
to read schematic.
The way the kit works is very simple, I had a small circuit
card made to detect any introduction of a liquid into your equipment
and I found a high quality heat sensor, relay and a vibration detector
to round out your protection.
If someone squirts salt water or any liquid that conducts
electricity into your changer, the sensor will immediately kill the
power to the changer so that the electronics won't keep frying and trigger
your alarm system. Usually, the liquid will stay on the detector which
keeps the power to the unit turned off. This will allow you to get to
the wash and wash the validator in distilled water and probably save
it. Even if you can't save this validator, with the alarm going, you
won't lose another one.
The heat sensor monitors the interior temperature and
if someone tries to cut into the "box", the temperature will
raise in seconds and trigger your alarm system. When the temperature
cools below a preset amount the sensor resets. For changers and similar
units one sensor will be enough. For a large glass front vendor it might
be wise to put in 2.
When someone starts beating or kicking on your equipment
or door. The vibration detector will trigger the alarm system. This
detector could also be mounted on walls and your roof to prevent someone
from trying to enter that way. This sensor is adjustable in case you
have some unusual situation, like a train that runs through the middle
of your wash.
I have not included common parts that you can buy at
Radio Shack or Home Depot. There is no reason for you to pay me a mark
up for these items. This is the way I've been able to keep the price
of this kit so low. Each part is also available separately because once
you have the basic kit, you will want to add needed parts to protect
other pieces of equipment including your vendors, vacs, bay meters,
doors, walls or the roof. With a wireless transmitter/receiver (available
from your alarm company), you can protect areas/equipment that new wires
can't be run to.
The additional parts that you will need:
1- Transformer (24VAC) (I have
acquired 22 of these with power cord, which you can purchase until gone.)
1- Electrical Box and Outlet
1- 110VAC Power Cord
1- Terminal strips (optional)
wire, solder-less crimp connectors, nuts&bolts, a
mounting bracket from scrap metal.
If you can do anything around your
wash other than collect the money, you can handle this kit.
There is one problem, I only made
100 circuit boards and that's a minimum amount I need to order next
time.
