    PDG G5 Dryer Motors

Upgrade should include motor, turbine, housing and motor switch/overload(correct name of this component eludes me at the moment).

    PDG G5 Dryer Motors

Motor is just part of the equation, because of the high RPM's you really need to make sure the turbine is not damaged and balance is maintained during removal and install of the turbine. Also make sure the turbine has no cracks. I'd highly suggest just buying the upgrade as much as the cost sucks.

I maintained G5's for a bit. Have you tested the motor to insure its not another component? Also we had frame mounted machines and I used a chain fall to remove and install blowers.

    Small Town IBA Startup!?

I can make a strong argument that Vermont is right up there regarding business friendly, just google ACT250! But I do believe the juice may not be worth the squeeze due to traffic count alone.

    FRP Panels

Panel install is easier than FRP. That said when I started in the wash industry the wash I was at had FRP that was 10 years old. We now have Panels, and I find the 10 year old FRP cleaned easier than 2 year old panels. I know I'm probably an outlier here but I much prefer FRP over panels...

Doyle vacuums with pleated cartridge filters

We too have gotten rave reviews on our vacs suction! And Dave is awesome to work with! We have been running our new Doyle Vacuums for several months now and they are great! We found that cleaning the filters every couple of days works best. To clean them we use a long handled brush to grab...

Customers trying to hack coin mechanisms

With the cost of the metal powder and the equipment to 3D print in metal it would be foolishly cost prohibitive to print coins.

Why dont Vacuum rates mirror self serve wash rates?

I've had a ton of requests for card acceptance over the last few years, the new generation doesn't really carry cash.

Why dont Vacuum rates mirror self serve wash rates?

Where are you that prices are so low?? Our site had the price of $1 for 4 minutes for the last 18 years and with the investment of new islands, vacs and paving I figured it was worth a substantial increase.

Why dont Vacuum rates mirror self serve wash rates?

Just installing new vacs and are going to adjust pricing. We are a busy IBA site in New England on a tight lot so we need to encourage turnover. We are going to take cash and cc/debit cards only. Thinking of a $3 start to account for cc fees, but not sure on how much per minute? Anyone...
