On Sept 29, 99 Jerry and Randy Nix (Car wash operators from Tacoma) each drove a Japanese Army truck from the port of Tacoma to the Yakima firing range in eastern Washington for the Tacoma Campfire boys and girls club.

This is one of the largest fund raisers for the Camp fire boys and girls club, bring in close to $27,000. a total of 48 trucks were transported by campfire to the firing center. This is the sixth year Jerry and Randy have given their time to do this.
