I do not know how you would balance the impeller yourself, but we have sand blasted and rebalanced at a machine shop many impellers after they started to vibrate. Several motor shafts were fractured before we realized they were out of balance. The choice of paint was not a concern, balancing was.

You might want to see if you can eliminated the PLC and use 2 or 3 functions from your controller. Car wash manufactures design their equipment to work in "all" environments. We have in the past been successful in deleting them for our wash. So the question is whats in you controller?

I would recommend you speak with Dan Reese with Laguna in Portland, OR. He changed out our Mac 4000. In order to get the wrap to get the second pass across the back you need proper sequencing. ICS claims they have the programing, but I have not seen it.

We upgraded a few years ago from the MacNeil Omron PLC 4000 to Kesseltronics r.TC (this is what we bought from MacNeil) a must because the way MacNeil controls their wraps. It is not cheap, but well worth the money. I would recommend that you install a sonar to detect open or closed pickup...

There is a difference between focusing, and variable focal length. A variable focal lense can be adjusted between 2.8 (wide angle) and 12 (telephoto). Most fixed focal length cameras are at 3.5, just a little longer that a wide angle. hope this helps

Most soft starts are good for 6 to 10 starts per hour. After a year or so, they start failing. VFD are robust and really save the motors, air gates combined with VFD are the best for energy savings and motor longevity.

We buy individual components. DVR from one source, cameras from whom ever has a deal going, wire ebay etc. We have our service tech install it. I can watch whats going on on my cell phone.
