    Merry Christmas....maybe

Its been a rough couple of weeks here. Had to go back into the hospital just after new years for fever and pain. Fever to a cancer patient is not a good thing. Spent a couple of days there and now back home. Did the bone scan thing and it turns out that the cancer has metastasized to my...

    Merry Christmas....maybe

Thank you all for your kind thoughts and prayers. Had a minor setback over Christmas and had to go to the emergency room at the local hospital. Seems I somehow got some internal bleeding that was causing an acid reflux like distress. Got on meds and iv's and am now back home and feeling a lot...

    Merry Christmas....maybe

WOW, Reds, you have been through it all haven't you. Amazing!! Am so glad you are still with us. You are a living testimony that this thing can be beat. I totally agree that a positive attitude and the 4 pillars are so important in our struggle with the dreaded big C. I have a strong support...

    Merry Christmas....maybe

Thanks to all of you and especially for your thoughts and prayers. Just finished radiation and my first chemo treatment. Had a talk with the Doc and he thinks the cancer may have spread to my bones. I guess a little bad news always precedes the good news. At any rate, they are confident they can...

    Merry Christmas....maybe

To all my friends and acquaintances here on the forum, I want to share something with you. Today I start on a journey I never expected to take. I know some of you have been there..done that, or know someone who has, but this is all new to me. Today I start radiation treatment for lung cancer. I...

switching from 3/8" to 1/4" hp supply hose

I originally ran 1/4" stainless tubing to my bays, then switched out to 3/8" stainless tubing. Made a big difference in the draw on the motors and more pressure and volume at the bay gun. I would go with the 3/8" stainless, if fact, I have done all my installs with 3/8" stainless. I get it from...

Water leaking from wand in bay when not in use

Scott, all my bays siphoned. When I added the check valve, that took care of the problem. By feed tank is not highter than the booms so the check valve worked for me. Just a 1/4" low crack check valve that I got from Car Wash Supply here in Houston.

Water leaking from wand in bay when not in use

Hi Scott, I had the same problem, my equipment room is elevated as it is in a flood zone. Water constantly dripped from the guns. The solution...install a check valve open at the "in" side above the boom in line with the bay hose. When the bay is shut off, the water down flow will open the check...

    Futura Millenium fault

The I/O fault is the Input/output fault, usually caused by a loose connection at the power supply. Check your connections there. There are some other things that may cause that, depending on what controller you have, ie ; touch screen, Uniop etc. You might also want to check the connection...

    Bay signs

I have "No bucket washing" signs in all my ss bays. When someone is using a bucket, I just point to the sign. That usually takes care of it. Some smartasses will say "I'm not washing a bucket". That's when I go off on them and say "Wrong answer, get rid of the bucket or get off my lot". Some...

    People inflicting pain

I think this all started with the legalization of abortion. The disregard people now have for the sanctity of live and the moral decay have led us down this road. Unless we as a nation get our values and respect for life back on track, it won't be long before we see more and more degeneration of...

    Futura Car wash

Hi Dognet, I am in Houston, but travel all over as it seems I am the only one left that still works on Futura systems. I could come to Arkansas to help you with your Futura. In the meantime, it looks like you have a solenoid valve shorting out. Could be the "soap" solenoid that comes on during...

    credit card fees

I know this has been talked about before, but I guess I'm just to lazy to look for it. I am using Wells Fargo for my credit card processing and the fees are outrageous. Is there an alternative to Wells Fargo to process credit cards? The only thing I'm using credit cards for is on my WSII in my...

I.B., you may be right about the renew panels, thought they were all the same. My bad.

    Anyone using extrutech wall panels?

I have them at my wash, you can get some spacers that you use to attach mat holders, gun holders etc to the wall. Use a hole saw then a masonry drill for the anchor bolts. People will punch holes in them just because they can, but not too bad. They do brighten things up a lot. I would do them...

I need to to drill out a lock

Yes, I can vouch for him. He is a customer of mine and a good guy. Someone tried to break into his WSII the other day and messed up the locks. To top it off, the bill validator in the WSII is jammed and he can't get into it to fix it. Any help would be appreciated. Good call on being cautious...
