All,

I provide a towel dry at my express exterior conveyor wash. Even after my towel dryers finish wiping the cars down, some customers, not a majority, get out of their vehicles to help out. I'm not unappreciated but they tend to clog up the exit of the wash. Also, I'm starting to lose a lot of towels. So I'm putting up a poster board sign at the exit with the following:

Thank you for you patronage and value you as a customer:

Please remain in vehicles at all times.
Towels are your employees only.
We sell towels for $3
Please see manager if you have any questions.

Anything else I can say? Just looking for other operators opinions.

Thank you!

You might want to include something referencing liability/safety and the need for customers to remain in their vehicle at all times for their personal safety.
