I'm thinking I'll start with tire cleaner, presoak, and maybe hot wax. All are dispensed out of the foam guns. Does this look correct? Do I want SS valve, SS wetted parts? Does end connections mean the products enters and exits out the top and bottom verses the back side?

Im also running tire cleaner out of the foam gun. Would the flow meter needed for that be the same as the presoak?

I don't believe my solenoids are metered. I think they're completely open or completely closed. Instead of changing them out with metered solenoids could do metered flow meters instead and leave the existing solenoids in place?

Missing plug

I had a similar issue. Turned out my vacuum has plastic plugs that cover the concrete anchors inside the bottom of the vacuum. One of my plugs wore out and fell out resulting in complete loss of suction at the hose.

How do you determine which flow meter to use? My flojets are g57s rated at 5gpm. I have 4 bays. All of my low pressure lines are 3/8” poly.

2biz, Are you using flojets? If so don’t you have to use a regulator to control the incoming air pressure that pushes the product?

2biz, I’m assuming you only use regulators on the air lines running out to bays and no flow meters? I’m not sure if my solenoids are adjustable? Where did you get the bracket that holds your flow meters?

I have a flat metal roof at the wash. I don’t have an attic. I’m not really a fan of mounting the motors in the bays. Has anyone ever mounted them on a flat roof?

Who has them? My current setup only uses air regulators for each function but there's some irregularities among the product in different bays. Some bays tend to foam a little more and some a little less. Would adding flow meters on each function for each bay allow me to really dial everything in...

Is all media the same? Is there any need to replace the gravel?

I’ve got a twin head softener from Velocity Water Works. I need to replace the media and gravel. The shipping for 3 bags of media and 1 bag of gravel comes to almost $600. Shipping is as much as the actual product. Where do you guys buy your media from? Is that shipping cost normal?

80, I also use a foam gun for all of my low pressure function but my tire cleaner does not foam anywhere near as good as yours. I’m not using any kind of foam generator. In your opinion does that make a big difference in foaming ability?

Follow rands advice. I had the same problem recently and had to redrill a few mounts except mine are inside the vacuum. If you have to reposition be cautious of incoming power. You don't want to scrape of the exterior jacket or pinch it when repositioning the vacuum.

Jim, Did you ask him about the possibility of replacing a panel if it was damaged?
