Last Sunday night two young punks removed my electric meter thinking (stupidly) that my power would go out. Even though lights did not go out, they still used a very large crow bar and went after the ACW. 15 seconds later (far too long) the shock sensor set off alarm and they ran off.
Now, this is where the story gets good. Alarm company called and I headed down to the wash. I texted the wash owner down the street and told him what happened. He sat up to watch his cameras and about 3 hours later spotted one of these knuckleheads going after his ACW. He called 911 and they used dogs to track one of them down hiding in the woods. Arrested 18 year old and he now sits in jail.
Communication was the key here and may save other car wash owners some money and headaches.
