Looking at my time per quarter. Is it outrageous to go to 25 seconds per quarter in my SS bays?

Where are you located in the US? Do you get complaints about limited time? Do your timers start the bay wash at a certain dollar limit?

I think you can only answer this by taking many factors into consideration among them what your similarly situated competition is doing.

I believe outrageous is not charging “at least” $0.0125 per second.

If you start at 4-minutes, then price or “rent” would be $3.00.

Where else can you rent space and materials to wash a car for $3.00?

Most places, you can’t even buy processed chicken parts for $3.00.

If customers are poor, what are you supposed to do, subsidize their needs?

At least charge a price that provides normal profits.

I'm @ $ 3.00 for 4 minutes, others in town are lower and their carwashes show the lack of maintenance and pride of owning a business.

I think $3 for 4 min is getting to be about the minimum rent you can charge for a visit to the wash .
I recently went to $2 for 6:15 on vacs from .75. I got tired of cleaning up around the vacs, all the garbage they drop off, and no money in the vacs. Now there is money in the vacs, so I'm not receiving slave wages for doing the same work.
