fwiw, we had a customer let us know a swiper on one of our vacuums wasn't reading his card today.
We swiped his card, and a couple of mine at least 10 to 20 times to no avail.
After a physical check proved all was ok, the last hope was to disconnect the power for a minute and power it back up.
It worked like a charm. Hope that helps anybody unaware with that issue.
