I Got Raped!!!

Our little town won the state championship football game today. A newS station came to town to show the excitement, and used my readerboard in the article, but cropped out the rest of my sign. They showed ever other business' sign, but cropped mine. Mine is the one that says:

GOIN' TO STATE
IDALOU WILDCATS!

You are the first person I thought of when I saw that Idalou won that game on Saturday. Of course, you are the only reason I've ever heard of Idalou.

Yeah it was quite a season for this little town of 2200. The team we beat in the title game was Lexington, who was 14-0. But our defense swarms and we held their star running back to 25 yards rushing.

At the start of the 4th quarter I had my ladder up by the sign, the letters taken down and new ones stacked neatly ready to go. I went ahead and changed the sign with 4 minutes left in the game as it was mathmatically impossible for Lexington to come back at that point:

IDALOU WILDCATS
STATE
CHAMPS!
