Yesterday , my vector-- i thought was causing the car wash busy indicator on the Hamilton ACW. I checked the eyes and reset wash. Then gave up and came home to eat, as it Was almost 8pm anyway. Then looked up the problem and on old posts seen the Inhibit relay may be the problem. I remembered i bought the relay 10yrs ago, then went back to replace and fix it. The forum posts were worth their weight in gold. But everyone already knows that anyway!
Thanks guys.

Is that a relay in the cashier or on your wash somewhere?

It was one of the five on the back of the acw, four are 120v and the far right is a 24v. Time to buy a spare!! It probably didn't like the 80 degree weather we have had the last three days, too warm for a cold blooded machine.

It goes bad because it's energized all the time.

I have the relay in the ACW off all of the time and the automatic sends a 2 sec pulse to tell the ACW to send another wash. It tells how to do it in the ACW manual. The auto has to have that option to work that way.
