THE GOOD... We are in Southeast Texas & have had a fantastic lovebug season. Cars have been lined up three deep at the s/s bays, the automatics have hardly shut down and not too many breakdowns. Smiling all the way to the bank!
THE BAD... Had to shut down because of Hurricane Gustaf last week. Mandatory evacuation but it missed us. Opened back up & continued washing cars.
THE UGLY.... Hurricane Ike is knocking on our door, no chance of a miss this time. Expecting 120 mph winds, 5"-8" of rain & a 20' to 25' storm surge on the coast. Probably 20% lower winds where we are at & no storm surge but still devastating to business.
Last hurricane we experienced was RITA three years ago. We were without power & water for three weeks.
Not crying or complaining but just making an observation for those that have never experienced something like this.
