One of my locations had a snowcone stand on it when I bought it. I let him stay for about a year but made him move because his customers would block my bays, throw trash on my lot and let the kids run all through the carwash. It was a nightmare.

We just hire part time help and do most of it ourselves. The ones I do hire are older, mostly retired, and happy to have something to do & earn some extra money. They don't want to play on the phone/internet. Works for us.

We use supercircuits.com for all our camera systems. Just had a hard drive go bad, called them & they sent us a new one, did not even have to send the old one back. Three year warranty on system! Very good support and mid priced.

Same topic but different thoughts. I agree, I look at the vacs as the most profitable services at out wash. We charge $1 for three minutes & feel like its almost like free income. I am at a loss as to why people are giving free vacs at their business. We just had a new wash open up close to us...

I put a 5 gallon bucket out front with an old foamy brush & handle with about a 1/2 cup of presoak and filled with water. After love bug season is over the bucket is removed and have never had a complaint. I do ocassionaly have a brush disappear but no big deal because they are old & worn anyway.

I think they are the best, saying that though the little trees outsell the wafers in my market. I have used them for years but after installing my new vendor and having them side by side the trees are selling better.

Somthing you also need to look at is the friction wash will cost you less to operate. You will be paying less water & sewer fees. We just pulled out a touchless and installed a friction wash and have doubled the income we had with the touchless. We are producing a very clean vehicle. Customers...

We installed a D&S IQ a few months ago. It's a whole new concept from any other wash that I am aware of. We couldn't be happier with the wash. Again, the distributor is very important!
